We don’t usually use public transportation, and are not very familiar with it.  We decided to try the light rail this morning as the boys always love seeing them.  The boys were so excited with the idea and even more excited when we arrived at the station.  They enjoyed going up to the platform with the escalator too.  We did not really have a destination, so we just rode it down one direction for a few stations.  Connor enjoyed sitting down inside the train and looking around.  Logan preferred standing up holding on to the pole, and tried to balance himself.  After arriving at a station, we walked over a bridge to a local shopping plaza to shop around, then had a nice lunch at a restaurant with outdoor seating.  The weather was beautiful which made the walk very pleasant.  We then looked forward to riding the train again on our return trip.  It was cool that we all had fun with such a simple outing.
