July 4th,2022
Posted By Bonnie Comments Off on July 4th,2022I convinced the family to go golfing since the weather was very mild. We decided to take the boys to try a different course; so we picked our previous favorite, Deep Cliff. It was a beautiful course and we all had a good golfing day. Logan is now able to drive further than me when he tries. Somehow Logan has changed his habit, he takes his time, always taking a practice before he hits, so he is doing great. Connor on the other hand, often declined to take a practice shot, so it took him a few holes to get into the groves. I was quite impressed that sometimes all four of us teed off well and we managed to keep up with the two-some group before us. Putting was always the worst part for us. I got lucky at one hole where I did a short chip and it went into the hole to give me a birdie. We did well wrapping up 9 holes, and we were exhausted afterward. Stuart and I needed a good nap while the boys played video games.
In the evening, I talked the family into going to watch the fireworks since it was finally back on this year. We took our usual route, parking by the trail and walking 30 mins into the park. Every time we walked on this trail, the boys wanted to do the exercise apparatus on the way and no exception this time. When we arrived, we found a decent spot to sit in the crowded park, and we managed to have a great viewing of the fireworks. It was a nice evening even the walk back to the car. But we were definitely exhausted even the next day.
Logan turned 14
Posted By Bonnie Comments Off on Logan turned 14Logan chose to have a game day at home for his birthday, so we did what he asked. I did take him and Connor to swim in the afternoon and Cole came join us too. In the evening, we opened his presents, enjoyed a dinner of his choice, and a birthday cake. Logan was happy with a game day and now he is 14!
