Bookshelf

When the boys were at the birthday party on Saturday, Stuart and I decided to return to Ikea.  We wanted to buy Logan a bookshelf but we ended up buying something else the last time.  This time we had an agenda; we walked and looked around quickly.  We picked up a lamp for the game room, the shelf and a few little stuffs.  Stuart put the shelf together on Sunday, and Logan loved this new addition to his room.  He took his time arranging the books on the shelf.  Connor was a bit envious and decided to organize the bookshelf in his room, and later opened a bookstore there.

Playdate Saturday

The boys were invited to Maxim’s game truck birthday party on Saturday.  It was a small party and the six boys had the truck all to themselves for two hours.  After the truckimage left, they had pizza and played some more inside the house.  When we picked them up, they told us that they had a blast the entire time.  To top it off, we let them that we were heading over to Rohan’s house; the boys were very excited.  We hung out there for a few hours and everyone had a good time.

Yellow Belts

We were told over a week ago that the boys were ready to be graduated to yellow belts based on the number of classes they attended and the stripes they received.  We did not know when the testing would be and what they would be asked to do, so we just had the boys reviewed the couple of routines at home.  On Friday i received these photos from Stuart while I was still at work.  According to what they told me later, before the end of class a few white belts, our boys included, were asked to do two routines; they all did well and were graduated to receive yellow belts.  The news made my afternoon on Friday.

Halloween

image   The boys had their school parade in the morning of Halloween, and I accompanied our Harry Potter and Pirate to school.  All the classes took turns walking around the blacktop to show off their costumes; afterward, I managed to run between the two classes and captured the group pictures.  Since I had to return to work and I could not stay at either classroom parties, I said bye to the boys and left.

After work, we quickly had dinner at home.  Maxim wanted to join the boys for trick n treat, so the parents dropped him off at 6pm.  When it was finally dark, Stuart took the three boys out to our neighborhood.  This year it was my turn to stay home to pass out candies.  We were prepared with 16-18 bags of candies as we had run out in the past.  Within an hour, I had given out candies to so many cute and cool trick n treaters.  Then my Harry and Pirate came to our door to get candies too.  The three boys were happy to go through all the treats they received and enjoyed a little of them too.
