We’ve been back a week now from our 14 day UK Tour.  
Our main stops included Hampton/England (Erik & Alison), Cardiff/Wales (Elaine & Clive), Girvan/Scotland (Aunt Sylvia & Uncle Robert), Windsor/England (The Hendersons).
We also had a couple groupies following us around (shout out to Mom & Dad) who seemed very familiar with the territory.

Some Highlights.

– Guiness on tap everywhere!
– New catch-phrase for 2007 “I can do it myself!”.  Thanks Eleanor.
– Celebrate Auntie Dorothy’s B-day!
– Erik being taken off in an ambulance while the rest of the brood continued our Dinner feast unabated.
– Clive’s castle tour extravaganza
– Hail in Girvan, Sleet in Girvan, Snow in Girvan
– Haggis (!) with the Wrights
– Actually making it to see “Billy Elliot” in London without getting lost
– Jungle Book performance in Windsor, introducing a rising new star “Max” as the Old Monkey !
– The Auntie Dorothy & Uncle Les bed-inflation workout program…coming soon to a gym near you.
– 235 Roundabouts entered…..235 exited. (Great Job Dad!)

Today, we asked ourselves, what where our highlights of 2006……Stuart had no idea…but Bonnie recalled:

– Valentines weekend in Mendocino.
– Bonnie quits her weekend Children Hospital Oakland job (hubbie needs more attention)
– Relaxing weekend at Asilomar resort
– Visited Stuart’s parents in LA (June)
– Vacation Trip to Washington DC (with Dora).
– July 4th week in New Mexico visiting Bonnies Parents (with Dora & Gloria)
– Tahoe trip for the annual Tashiro family reunion (Stuart’s Friends)
– Our First-Year Anniversary Vacation at Maui, Hawaii.
– Thanksgiving in Los Angeles (with Stuart’s Parents)
– Got a website
– Christmas at home (after Florida trip fell thru)
We look forward to what 2007 has in store.

Who woulda thunk that San Jose airport would have fog issues?  But that’s what happened on Christmas day.   Flights were delayed so we would have missed our connecting flight to the final destination of Orlando (we were to stay with Bonnie’s Sis family for the week).  All flights out the next two days were booked as well.  argh.   We almost were able to re-route thru another flight, but alas, only one seat was available.

Much disappointment, as we didn’t get to play with Katie (niece), and we know Yvonne went to a lot of trouble in decorating the house, and gathering all essential xmas cooking food items.  Yvonne, sent a few pics to remind us what we missed (see gallery).

Due to overwhelming demand (hi mom) we are switching to a new web format.   Hopefully I will learn a little bit more about this program and add some cool features.
