The boys were invited to Maxim’s game truck birthday party on Saturday. It was a small party and the six boys had the truck all to themselves for two hours. After the truck
left, they had pizza and played some more inside the house. When we picked them up, they told us that they had a blast the entire time. To top it off, we let them that we were heading over to Rohan’s house; the boys were very excited. We hung out there for a few hours and everyone had a good time.

We were told over a week ago that the boys were ready to be graduated to yellow belts based on the number of classes they attended and the stripes they received. We did not know when the testing would be and what they would be asked to do, so we just had the boys reviewed the couple of routines at home. On Friday i received these photos from Stuart while I was still at work. According to what they told me later, before the end of class a few white belts, our boys included, were asked to do two routines; they all did well and were graduated to receive yellow belts. The news made my afternoon on Friday.

Since we were free and the weather was nice on Sunday, we went to practice at a driving range. Connor was excited and Logan was indifferent. Connor watched other people practice as we walked down the range, and he was ready to swing his clubs properly. Logan did a couple of hits, and he quickly got disappointed and wanted to give up. It took some encouragement, and he stayed in and improved over time. I was taking videos at the beginning, but later I started hitting too. Connor was trying to be my teacher; he watched me swing and gave me tips. I have to say that his suggestions to me were all proper. I think all four of us did quite well and had fun.
