Post Season

The tennis season has ended. Since Connor was in team C, the participation was not significant this year; he had practice with his team just once a week. Today I dropped Connor off to the season-end party and tournament. According to Connor, he played 3 games, got himself to the quarterfinal and eventually lost to a close game with a Team A player. He was happy with that result and had a good time there.
Mother’s Day weekend 2023
Posted By Bonnie Comments Off on Mother’s Day weekend 2023As always, I would like the family to go golfing with me for Mother’s Day. Since Connor had a tennis practice on Sunday that I did not want him to miss, so we chose to go on Saturday. I did not plan ahead, so we did not find an opened tee time for the short course. Instead we hit at the driving range which was good as we all needed the practice. The boys seemed quite engaged and we had some good hits. We also competed a bit and took videos of each other.
Here is our driving range hits.
On Sunday morning, Connor single-handedly made us waffles for breakfast which were delicious. I also received cards and a great gift on this day. It was a great weekend.
Slight Remodel
Posted By Bonnie Comments Off on Slight RemodelConnor would like to remodel his room, so he had researched and found himself a new desk that he liked. With the help of Stuart, they moved his bed to a different side of the room, and they put together a new desk together.

With Connor’s inspiration, Logan also wanted to make some changes to his room. So he, with the help of Stuart, moved his desk in the closet space. He is quite happy where his desk is now.
Growing up
Posted By Bonnie Comments Off on Growing upConnor has gotten ideas to change his room, and the first step was to clean it up. It was finally time for Connor to wrap up his stuffed animals and some of this kiddie’s books. Stuart and Connor spent quite a bit of time to decide who/what to keep and who/what to pack away. Of course, I needed to keep memories, so I requested a picture of Connor with his friends.

They also moved his bed and desk around, and planned to get a new desk that he wanted soon. ![]()
Logan followed Connor’s lead, and also wanted to sort through his friends. He requested to move his desk to another location to freshen up his room too.
Stuart’s Birthday
Posted By Bonnie 1 Comment »Stuart took his birthday off this year; he and I hung out for the day. We did some shopping in the morning, and had a good lunch at a restaurant in Morgan Hill downtown. It was nice to get a drink in the afternoon sometimes. For the evening, I had made him a dinner and a cake so we could stay in for the Warriors. It was an incredible game and Stuart was happy to see a win on his birthday. It was a sweet day.
