Things we did today:
- Decided not to get Camry maintenance done today, because Logan was crying too much.
- Bonnie went to Target. Think we set a new record on Total Cost of minor items purchased. Diapers add up.
- Watered Roses. Also watered a bush for a few minutes by spraying the water hose from about 6 feet away…then a wet Scottie came slopping out. I forgot that is where he takes shade during hot days. Oh well, he needed a bath.
- We tried out “Gripe Water” that is supposed to magically stop babies from chronically crying. Don’t think it worked.
- Discussed our fears of how Logan will act during a house party we are attending tomorrow.
- Bonnie gave Logan a bath.
- Used a Voltage meter to see how much wattage/money our regular household items are sucking up…more later in Techcorner about that.
- Put together one of Logan’s playtoys. It was made in England..I don’t think they designed it to be easy for us Americans to build.
- Bounced with Logan on exercise ball ad-nauseam…one of his worst cranky days to date.
- Wrote this blog entry.

Poor baby.. Trevor had colic very bad about 3 weeks or so after he was born. Remember the vacuum cleaner running was the only way he’s stop and sleep. Andrew finall had the great idea to tape the vacuum running instead or replacing the vacuum cleaner belt. ha ha. We finally took him to our pediatrician who gave us donatal elixer (spelling??) it was 16 years ago. he said after giving to Trev for a day or two we would notice a major change, AND WE DID. he was all smiles and cooing ,relaxed and completely different baby. His parents were much happier too!
It relaxes the stomach muscles and prevents them from cramping.. I will never forget the name of that magical elixer..Thinking of you…..xxx

Logan doesn’t sound as bad as Trevor was yet. At least he mostly acts up prior to 9pm, so the night-times are usually tantrum free. I always try to keep a load of laundry on the ready. The noise of the dryer, and my singing voice, usually put him into dreamland…or maybe he decides passing out is the only escape.

Logan did extremely well at our house party. He’s welcome back anytime!

Seems they like the humming noises, vacuum, dryer, dishwasher. Trev had it only during the day too, luckily not every day.But rest assured it does pass eventually….
