The next morning upon return, we had a plan to attend Theresa and Martin’s engagement party.  I went to observe the ceremony at her house on my own.  The ceremony was quite formal with all the Vietnamese traditions, and some of our friends were also dressed in traditional Vietnamese costumes to help celebrate.  After the ceremony and snacks at the house, Robyn, Nela and I came back to our house for a short break before heading over to the celebration luncheon.  Since Connor was still having a nasty cough, I only took Logan with me to the party.

    It was a banquet lunch at a Chinese restaurant, and the food was great.  Logan sat next to Brandon, and enjoyed his company during the two hour lunch.  They watched videos together, then Logan watched Brandon playing his game until Logan asked me to play a game on my phone. 

    At 3pm, I received a text from Stuart telling me that Connor had a fever after nap.  So right after Theresa finished her Karaoke song, Logan and I said thanks to the host and gave goodbyes to everyone and headed home.
