Logan was sick that day, but we did not want Connor to miss out on the festivities, so Stuart and I took turns taking Connor out. In the morning, Stuart and Connor went to join the neighborhood parade. Connor e
njoyed walking with our neighbor following a fire truck during the 30 minutes parade.
Later we switched off, I took Connor to the pool to watch the events. Our neighbors shared some seats with us, and we watched the coin dive, watermelon battle, and diving contests. Connor and I had hotdog lunch there, and I also enjoyed a margarita from our neighbor. Connor hang out with Cole majority of the time; they enjoyed an ice cream treat and later played in the play structure for quite a long time.
In the evening we had to cancel our initial plan to go watch firework, but we actually all could use an earlier bedtime after an eventful 24 hours with Logan.
